If you have OnePoint, you can set up your Third Party options so that a user can initiate a business application from within OnePoint. A new business application is started in Baker Hill Origination that contains information retrieved from the customers' OnePoint records.
This feature will create new applications only; you will not be able to add information to existing business applications.
The user must have the appropriate access rights in both OnePoint and Baker Hill Bank2Business to use this functionality.
Note: To use this feature, you need a file called B2bimport.exe, which is available for Baker Hill Origination administrators to download from Online Resources. (Go to http://www.bakerhill.com/clientlibrary/or/document.aspx?ID=479872. You'll need to log in with the user name and password given to you. If you don't have a user name and password for the Online Resources, you can request one by completing the form at http://www.bakerhill.com/clientlibrary/or/Register.aspx.) Make note of the directory in which you copy this file (where you put it is not important, as long as your users computers can access the path).
You may perform a Doc Prep export from the Activities menu while the main customer screen is open. Data from your Baker Hill OnePoint customer record will partially populate a new small business application in Baker Hill Origination. The partial population will include general business information, principal information, and financial statement (STAN) information.
Note: Not all product types in Bank2Business require financial statement information. Product types that do not require the information will not display any statement information that may have been available in Baker Hill OnePoint.
Follow these steps in Baker Hill OnePoint:
Access the customer for whom you want to create a small business application.
Make sure the customer screens that contain the information you're exporting (main customer screen, customer contact screen, and so on) are completed and accurate.
Note: Missing or inaccurate information may be edited in either the customer's Baker Hill OnePoint record or in the new loan application created in Baker Hill Origination.
While the main customer screen is open, choose Activities > Doc Prep from the Baker Hill OnePoint menu bar.
At the bottom of the Doc Prep screen, select the Bank2Business option (the exact name of the option may differ, depending on your setup).
Click the Principals button on the Doc Prep screen.
Select the first contact you wish to include as a principal in the Available Contacts box and then click the right-pointing arrow between the boxes to move that contact into the Selected Principals box.
To deselect a selected principal, click the principal's name in the Selected Principals box and then click the left-pointing arrow.
The double-pointing arrows move all contacts from one box to the other.
Note: Only names in the Selected Principals box will have credit reports retrieved when Origination processes the application.
Click OK to return to the Doc Prep screen.
Click the Submit button at the top of the Doc Prep screen.
Click OK on the confirmation message that appears. Your browser should launch automatically (see the next section of this document).
Note: If you don't see the confirmation message, the Doc Prep export may not have completed successfully. The most common reasons for an unsuccessful Doc Prep operation are an out-of-balance STAN statement and/or a STAN industry that is not supported.
Note: The first time you use the Doc Prep feature for Baker Hill Origination, a dialog box will appear, prompting you for your user name and password (along with other information). After you complete this dialog box, your browser starts up.
The first time you submit the Doc Prep export, you'll be prompted for your user name and password. Following any subsequent exports, Baker Hill Origination will automatically launch, bypassing the login page, and generate a new application for the OnePoint customer.
The first page that appears is the New Application page. Select the product or products for the application and then click Continue. Fill out and submit the application as you normally would.
See the next section for information on which fields are retrieved from the customer's Baker Hill OnePoint records into the small business application.
Proper data entry into your Baker Hill OnePoint database is critical to getting the most out of the Doc Prep functionality. This section specifies the fields that impact the Bank2Business import.
Please note that the Doc Prep functionality performs no verification of the data it extracts; it simply imports the data that is available. If you are not familiar with the customer record from which you are performing a Doc Prep operation, be sure to review the data either prior to importing to Bank2Business or after importing (but before submitting the application).

Note the following about Doc Prep exports of STAN data:
The Doc Prep feature will pull the data from the customer's STAN statement regardless of whether the user executing Doc Prep has access rights to the STAN component of Baker Hill OnePoint.
The only industries that Doc Prep can extract are General/Middle Market and its derivatives (GEN); Small Business (SMB); and Corporate (COR).
Regardless of the way the data was spread in STAN (actual dollars, thousands, millions, or billions), the data will appear as actual dollars in Baker Hill Origination.
Doc Prep for Baker Hill Origination always returns the most recent period. It may also return prior periods according to these rules:
If the most recent period is an annual period (12 months long): Doc Prep will extract it and will also include the prior period if the prior period is also 12 months long (only these two periods will be extracted).
If the most recent period is an interim period: Doc Prep will look at the prior period. (a) If the prior period is not an annual period, it is not included; (b) If the prior period is an annual period, it is included, and then Doc Prep looks at its prior period. If this next period is also an annual period, it is included as well. In this case, Doc Prep will extract three periods: one interim period and the two prior annual periods.
An interim period will not be extracted by Doc Prep unless it's the most recent period.
No distinction is made among Historical, Budgeted, and Currency period types.
Your View One versus View Two period selections on the STAN screen in Baker Hill OnePoint have no impact on the periods retrieved by Doc Prep.
Baker Hill OnePoint Doc Prep will not extract STAN data if the STAN statement is not in balance.
Fields from Baker Hill OnePoint are imported into the Consolidated Financial Statement of the Bank2Business application as follows. (A colon indicates a summed range of lines.)
